First of all, I just want to thank all the readers who have stuck with Twokinds during this long, long story arc. It's taken way longer than I ever had imagined it would, but as you may be able to tell, the Basitin Island arc is quickly coming to a climax. So, I hope you've enjoyed the story so far. I appologize for my dramatically changing update schedule. I'm going to strive to update more often than I have been, just to get the story going along a bit faster. I know once a week isn't ideal. College is out for me this semester, so hopefully I'll have more time to work. Thanks for reading.
Sorry about going missing the last week. I hadn't intended to skip this week's updates, but time escaped me. There's no real reason for my absense - to be honest, I got caught up in school, video games, and projects; you know, the usual offenders. So, the passage of time has made a fool of me once more. The next comic has been sketched out for a whille but I won't be able to finish it in time to make up for the last two updates. So, I'm going to be playing catch-up on Monday. Come back in two days and I shall have a new page warmed up and ready for you. I might try and see if I can't sneak in another extra update for you guys later as well. Thank you for your time and patience.
I know today's comic gave way TMI about how Keidran breed. I couldn't see any way around it; Eric had to ask something, and I sorta wrote myself into a corner where that was the only story path out. I think it works alright, even if it's rather awkward for some people to listen to a discussion about animals breeding. Apologies in advance. Also, to any veterinarians, animal husbandry experts, or animal lovers, I know all that stuff about Keidran estrus is probably based nothing in reality. I don't know anything about real life estrous cycles or its effects, and I don't claim to. Everything described in the comic is entirely fictional and probably doesn't make any sense. Apologies in advance for that too! Other than that, I hope you continue to enjoy the series. I'll try to update these announcements more often. I usually never have anything to say...
Hello, Readers. You may have noticed a few changes taking place around the site recently. The most obvious of which is probably that new banner ad currently seated at the top of this news box. This is one of three new ad spots added to the website, thanks to Project Wonderful. Yes, these are advertisements, and I realize people hate advertisements. But these are MY ads, and they help provide funding to keep this website going. And they're from Project Wonderful, so you know the ads are coming from other comics and people like you and me. So, enjoy them. :)
Also new to the site is the forums! The old forums were OLD. I mean, really, really old. They were being held together with bubblegum and scotch tape. It was honestly getting to the point where any change I tried to make would probably cause the code to collapse in on itself. So now the forums have been updated to phpBB3.0 and they're quite stable. I know it'll take some time to get used to the new look, but I'm sure after a while the updates will be appreciated.
Finally, the biggest change is probably the archives! They have been completely updated, and are now being hosted by me, personally. No more ComicGenesis, it's all me. Because they're being hosted by me, I have a lot more control over how things works, including ad spaces. Also, it is now much faster to browse the archives. So, that should be encouraging for any new readers, or old readers who want to go through the archives again. Once again, thank you all for sticking with me. I will now be updating comics every Friday until further notice. So, enjoy the comics, the sites, and the updates to come. :) Until next time!
First of all, thank you all very much, those of you who participated in the donation drive. It was very much appreciated. I was amazed at ammount of donations that came in, and it really means a lot to me. I had intended to keep the donation drive going for a few weeks, but I had to end it after only three days once the meter surpassed 2000. I am eternally grateful to all of you. The donations will be put into the repairs of my car and the rest into paying for my tuition. Thank you very much.
On that note, I appologise for the delay in starting the next chapter. It's taking me longer to write the next arch than I had intended. I'd like to have this chapter as best thought out as I possibly can make it, so as everything wraps up neatly. I will update as soon as I finish the next page, and I will do my best to update more often this chapter. Thank you for your patience, and I hope you enjoy future updates.
